Our Philosophy

At Calvary Nursery School we respect each child's individual needs. We work together with families to help build a sound foundation for each child's future. Since play prepares children for academic learning, our play-based learning environment helps children develop:

• confidence and self-esteem
• a positive attitude toward learning
• literacy, math, and science concepts
• language and reasoning skills
• problem-solving and imagination skills
• essential social skills such as sharing, taking turns, making choices, and empathy

Calvary Nursery School is a non-profit, half-day program in which our highly trained staff create a fun, nurturing, safe, enriched, play-based environment where your child will grow and learn.
